Sound Off: How Many Clients Can a Realtor® Represent at Once?

Realtors® are not all created equal and we don’t all have the same work ethic, experience as efficiently as others.

A: Realtors® are not all created equal and we don’t all have the same work ethic, experience or work as efficiently as others. Therefore, how many clients an individual Realtor® can handle is subjective. Over the years I have learned that it is important to have a strong support staff to make sure that our clients’ needs are met. Clients’ goals and needs are diverse and depending on who we are working with at any point in time, we may have more or less of a bandwidth for additional clients.

The issue isn’t the number of clients a Realtor® can represent simultaneously, the issue is the number of clients a Realtor® can represent simultaneously while making sure that they all receive the appropriate amount of time and service. We are in the relationship business that relies heavily on referrals from happy clients and we have an obligation to make every client feel like they are our only client.
